Avoid 30 to 40 disposable or surgical masks by choosing a reusable cloth mask.
Cloth masks can be used by all those who are healthy with no symptoms of COVID-19. What could be a better way of using a mask, than controlling the hygiene levels ourselves!
To help you protect yourself better, we have worked with women from Self Help Groups to make these especially designed 3-layered cotton masks with a special pocket to insert a fourth PP layer for extra protection.
The masks are made from scrap cotton cloth (cut-pieces from tailors) and also help with the additional advantage of reducing waste to landfills.
As per WHO, a surgical mask should be worn
- By a health worker
- People who have symptoms of COVID-19
- Caretakers of people who are infected with or are suspected to be suffering from COVID-19
- By people above the age of 60 years and those who have underlying health condition, staying or exposed to areas where distancing of 1 meter is not possible.
