Measurethe desired amount of organic kolam rice. Rinse the rice under running water to remove any impurities. In a pot, add water in a 1:2 ratio (1 cup rice to 2 cups water) and bringit to a boil. Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water and reduce the heat to asimmer. Cover the pot and let the rice cook for about 15-20 minutes or until thewater is absorbed.
