Shipping Policy

Shipping policy

Shipment of Products: Purchases are shipped from our own Warehouse or an approved fulfilment centre. Our endeavour is to make the products reach you within 2-4 days from receipt of order and payment. Order deliveries will be made usually between 10 am – 7 pm Monday –Sunday. Shipping is free on all orders. 

COD is not available.

​Goods will need to be signed upon delivery. We take no responsibility for goods signed by an alternative person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of the order.

Since the transactions are authorised by the card holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order.

​The delivery will NOT be redirected / redelivered to any other address in any circumstance. The selected product will be delivered only in the city it is mentioned as “available” on this Site. We shall not be held responsible for damage of products after delivery.


Artisante will consider the order delivery “failed” in the following cases:

  • Delivery not done due to wrong address.
  • Recipient not available.
  • Premises locked.

​In case of floods/ Heavy Rains/ National Bandh we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery for another date.

In case the product is not delivered due to any of the above reasons, we will inform you about the same.

All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service on the day of delivery through the contact us page on the web store. Also the said shortage of goods needs be highlighted and signed on the delivery challan copy and returned to the delivery person.

​In case of Delivery Charges, shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume, type and other considerations. The shipping and handling charges are given at the time of check out and consumers will know about this before making payments.

​Product returns: Once products are delivered to you and accepted as accurate and as per the original order, there is no refund or exchange possible. Please review our refund policy.

​To return any items that are damaged or not as per your original order, please return these products to the delivery person along with a remark on the delivery receipt. Please contact customer service by email through the contact us link on the website. Mention the return of products along with the order number, and the date of delivery.

​All returned items must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt, a return / exchange authorisation number and in unopened, saleable condition.

​Please note that in any case we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on any sale, more than partially eaten, mishandled, or where the damage is caused by the customer. ​

Please allow reasonable time from the day you return your package for your refund request to be processed. You will be contacted once your return is complete.

Dispatch:

Due to courier timelines, all orders received before 11:30 a.m. will be processed on the same day in most cases. Orders received after 11:30 a.m. will  be  processed on the next business day. Orders are not dispatched on Sundays and public holidays. 

Disclaimer: “We as a Retailer shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorisation for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having any issue with the payment gateways."

Refund Policy

Refund policy

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. In addition, at least 75 percent of the original packaged quantity must be made available for photos and returns. 

Product must be returned with all tags attached in its original condition along with all packing material, courier receipt, invoice & other papers.


To be eligible for a return, there must be damage to the product and it has to be substantiated with photographic evidence. If you are unhappy with the product for any reason besides visible damage, please write to us so we can guide you. In general, if you are not satisfied, and can return 75 percent or more of the product within 3 days, sometimes we allow more than 3 days, we will try to give you a full replacement or refund at our option.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@artisante.in. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you return instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once the Product is received by the company successfully, R&A Artisanal Foods will instantly initiate the refund to your source account or chosen method of refund. 


Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In the warmer months, we ship in a sealed styrofoam pack with ice packs to keep the chocolate cool. If you delay accepting the order, or if the courier delays, or if your watchman takes time to give you the package ... or for a host of reasons, the package gets delayed, then the chocolates may soften. To restore hardness, keep the chocolate in a fridge for an hour or so, or in an ac room for an hour. The shape may change, but the chocolate quality remains intact. Also, the laws disallows the return of ingestible items such as foods and medicines.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
