Takes about 1 – 1.5 hrs to make these tacos and this recipe gives 12 tacos
To make it cheesy you can add LIVE yum cheese shreds Live yum vegan cheese
Ingredients :
–To make crispy taco shell
corn-flour (50 grams)
all-purpose flour/maida(50 grams)
baking soda
oil for frying
salt
–To make the veggie filling with rajma beans
2 medium size onions
2 tomatoes
1 capsicum
jalapenos
cooked rajma beans (50 grams)
you can always add more veggies of your choice
–Seasoning
crushed garlic
mustard paste (adds a great tangy flavor)
tomato sauce
salt, pepper, chilly flakes
oregano
cheese shreds (optional:if you want to make it cheesy)
Recipe :
To prepare the veggie filling
1. Add some oil in kadai.
2. Add cut veggies,garlic and cooked rajma beans and let it cook about 10 minutes
3. Now time to season it – add mustard paste , oregano and other spices
To prepare taco shells
1. Mix all ingredients(all-purpose flour, corn flour ,salt, baking soda and some oil) for taco shell , add required amount of water and make it like a soft dough. Knead the dough and make taco sheets (they look almost like papads)
2. Fry them in oil for about 15-20seconds fold the shell in half, holding in place with the tongs until crispy (for about 15 seconds)
Assembling it all
Now add veggie filling in each of the taco shells and top it with some tomato sauce and cheese shreds
